About Comedian Dave Goldstein

“Dave Goldstein did a funny bit…” – The New York Post
“His comic star is on the rise!” – The Asbury Park Press
“Dave kept us rolling.” – Current Diversions, Hilton Head, SC

You may recognize comedian and actor Dave Goldstein from one of his many appearances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, including a particularly memorable role as a naked cop directing traffic in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art on 5th Avenue in New York City.

His comedy special, Isn’t It Obvious, was just released to rave reviews by Dry Bar Comedy and is available on iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, and DryBarComedy.com.

Dave’s stage act, which has been praised by The New York Post (“…funny”) and The Asbury Park Press (“…his comic star is on the rise!”), is a blend of original writing and inspired live riffs. You can hear his stand-up comedy on Sirius/XM Radio. He has performed numerous times for our troops and was the headline comic on a tour of U.S. Army posts in Europe.

He’s opened theater performances for Dennis Miller, handled the audience warm up for Drew Carey’s CBS TV show The Power of Ten, been read on the Sports Illustrated website, heard on the National Lampoon Radio Network, and was an original member of the improv group Far Beneath Gotham in New York City.

He has also been the charity auctioneer for The Nelson Mandela Legacy Fund, UNICEF, Facebook Charities, Fort Ticonderoga, and The Carlos Beltran Foundation ($50,000 for Derek Jeter’s cleats) among others. You’ve also seen his copywriting on billboards across the United States and 70 stories high in Times Square.

Dave is also in demand as a wedding officiant and has married more than 200 couples in ten states, including one wedding featured on Bravo TV’s Say Yes To The Dress.

Dave Goldstein has also been seen in commercials for Sprint, New England Bank (also naked, why?), ABC Sports, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. He is a voiceover artist and has been heard in numerous instructional videos (if there’s ever a nuclear accident in the U.S., the responders will hear Dave’s voice telling them how to input Geiger Counter readings), and was the voice of Madacy Home Video on the Howard Stern Show. He has also had a number of essays on international affairs published.

Dave’s career has taken him across the United States, Canada, and Europe after first performing publicly at 13 as a guest of disc jockey New Orleans Slick on WFEC in his hometown of Harrisburg, PA.
